Family Tree

Life is sweeter when shared and the Family Philanthropy Conference is no different.

The Family Philanthropy Conference is dynamic and substance-rich. Sessions will get your creative juices flowing and you'll be amazed at what you learn when you explore Miami during off-site experiences and off-hours. Wouldn't it be nice to see some familiar faces when you walk into a big room? We think so.

Whether this is your first conference or your fifth, you can sweeten the experience by sharing it with a small group of like-minded colleagues.

Sign up to join a "family tree" on your registration form or on-site at the conference.

Simply choose from a variety of topics that most interest you and the Council will pair you with other attendees.

    • Trustee/family (must be a trustee or family member of a family foundation)
    • CEO (must be a CEO, executive director, or president of a family foundation)
    • New grantmaker/first-time attendees
    • Next Gen
    • Education funders
    • Arts funders
    • Public-philanthropic partnerships
    • Global funders

You will connect throughout the conference:

    • Enjoy a special reception on Monday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
    • Brief meetings, or "family tree huddles" will be held during breaks in Family Central so you can exchange notes and share what you have learned.
    • Look for special seating reserved for you and your family tree at meals and sessions.

Get ready to learn, share, and connect throughout the experience. You'll stay in touch with your new "family members" long after the conference has ended.
