Van Leer Lecture

The Van Leer Lecture-a partnership of the Bernard van Leer Foundation, the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute, and the Council on Foundations-is an annual series created to increase awareness of issues affecting the global community and the role foundations play in addressing those concerns. This year's lecturer, Jenny White, associate professor of anthropology at Boston University, has authored numerous articles on Turkey and lectures internationally on topics ranging from political Islam to gender issues.
