Town Square

Town squares have traditionally been the central gathering place for many small communities, and the one at this year’s fall conference will reflect that buzzing energy. As the hub for information-sharing, Town Square will be the hot spot for sessions and networking. Meet some of the leading philanthropic service providers, get introduced to the latest in technological tools to streamline your work, or just take a few moments to learn about innovative grantmaking or community leadership strategy. Chat with new colleagues. Dialogue with members of the Council staff. All of this can be done in Town Square!

Got 20 minutes? Visit the Festival of Innovation.

If you like the on-stage performances at community festivals, you’ll love the array of big ideas presented in bite-sized morsels at this futuristic conference feature. In just 20 short minutes, you’re guaranteed to walk away with at least one idea to try back home!

Pop out of a workshop and come to Town Square to hear what colleagues are doing to:

  • raise money in new ways
  • attract and engage donors
  • get stronger investment returns
  • build assets
  • create new partnerships

You can even learn how to engage older citizens in your community during a special 60-minute conversation. We encourage you to meet with organizers and peers to carry the dialogue and learning beyond Town Square!
