Join this hands-on design session with Nadia Roumani and Evelyn Huang from the The Hasso Plattner Institute of Design ("d-school") at Stanford University, and Ralph King producer and co-director of the film "Extreme by Design" to experience how design thinking can be used to solve tough problems. By exploring the foundations of human-centered design, this session will both take you through the steps of design thinking in a learning activity as well as provide inspiration from King's new film "Extreme by Design." This film follows the journey of college students who design and build products to solve seemingly intractable problems for the world's poor.
