This is a rare opportunity to talk with wine makers; pick up tips on selecting, buying, and serving the right vintage; and hear about the Lohr family's philanthropy. Get a firsthand look at how Santa Clara County's largest homeless service providers for families and youth, the Georgia Travis Center and the Bill Wilson Center, are offering hope for the future through access to basic services, health care, case management, education, job training, and child care.

Visit a public school and hear about the Sobrato Family Foundation's decision to invest in Pre-K-3 early education for low-income English learners. Participants will visit classrooms, meet the director (a national expert in English learner education), and discuss needs, challenges, and philanthropic approaches to supporting English learner education.
Tuesday, January 29 - 8-11 a.m.
Meet and talk with innovators working with students who face challenges such as poverty, the need to learn English, and limited educational role models. You'll also experience creative partnerships that bring new resources to schools and take away ideas that can be implemented at home.
